Fort Drum (WSYR-TV) -- Dozens of workers will be laid off from their jobs at Fort Drum in the coming weeks.

About 150 contractors with Dyncorp International stationed at Fort Drum will lose their jobs beginning in April.

Those employees work on aircrafts, support programs for Army aviation units and maintain equipment.

The company said it needed to make cuts because of a drop in the Army’s needs.
