LIVERPOOL (WSYR-TV) – A benefit was held on Sunday for 4-year-old Aiden Erwin of Pennellville, who is battling brain cancer.
Doctors recently discovered that Erwin had a malignant brain tumor, which will require months of chemotherapy. He is currently receiving that treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital and is expected to be there until at least Christmas.
The boy's aunt - Renee Senn - and a group of young professionals - Valued Industry Partners
- teamed up to put on Sunday’s fundraiser at Sharkey’s in Liverpool.
Money raised will help Erwin’s parents with his medical bills.
"I hope that we can raise as much money as we can for him to make his life that much better. No 4-year-old boy or anybody should ever have to go through a situation like this and I just want to help,” said Aiden’s aunt, Renee Senn.
