SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police say the man was riding along Park Street near Hiawatha Boulevard when he was hit.
The bicyclist was headed for the Regional Market at 2:30 Saturday morning, when a car passed by and he felt something hit him in the eye.
Police say the man thought it was only a rock, but later realized he need medical attention.
Doctor's at St. Joseph's Hospital removed a projectile from the victim's eye and police say it appears to be a BB.
The injury is not life threatening, but investigators tell us the man is being treated for a severe eye injury.
