San Mateo, CA (CNN/WSYR-TV) - Five members of a bachelorette party, including the bride-to-be, died when their limo caught fire on a bridge near San Francisco.
The driver and four members of the party managed to get out of the limo, which became engulfed in flames, with the help of some good samaritans.
The surviving women were treated for smoke inhalation.
The bride, Neriza Fojas, would have gotten married in the Philippines in June.
State police say it appears the fire started in the trunk. The cause is under investigation.
Meanwhile, in a written statement, the limousine company said it was "deeply saddened" by the deaths.
