Bullied bus monitor to donate funds raised, pay bills
Greece (WSYR-TV) -- The bus monitor who was bullied by middle-schoolers earlier this month in the Rochester area received some good attention in Boston.
Since the video of the bullying was posted on YouTube, Karen Klein has received an outpouring of support from strangers.
On Thursday, she was made an honorary bus monitor by Boston City Schools.
Klein says she hasn't quite forgiven the kids who bullied her, but she'd still like to speak to them and find out why they did it.
Her supporters have raised more than $660,000.
Klein plans to spend the donation money on bills and donations to Autism and Down Syndrome Charities.
