Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The State Fair introduced Central New York’s newest millionaires on Monday.
Paul and Amy Palladino won the New York Lottery jackpot on a $5 scratch-off ticket, and it's the second time this year that the Lottery had a million dollar winner in Onondaga County.
"It's unvebelievable, still disbelief in this moment," said Paul Palladino "It's just amazing."
"I feel very lucky, very grateful," said his wife Amy.
The Palladino’s were presented with a million dollar check after scratching off the Prism Playout game and revealing the jackpot.
The couple decided to settle for the lump sum, taking home $410,000 and says the money will go toward paying off debt, and the rest will be saved and invested.
The couple says they will continue to play the lotto, and may be on a lucky streak. Just the other day they won $200 on another scratch-off.
