Brewerton (WSYR-TV) -- It’s a summertime favorite and one of our viewers wants to know why the Calypso Cay restaurant in Brewerton isn’t open for the season yet.
The owner says he was previously looking at selling the lakeside restaurant, but a potential buyer ended up backing out. That’s caused a bit of a delay in getting Calypso Cay ready for its usual opening around Memorial Day.
The owner says he needs to make a few minor improvements at the restaurant and hire staff, but expects to be able to open the restaurant in the next couple of weeks.
