Camillus lottery winner takes lump sum, walks away with more than $600K
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Camillus man claimed his lottery prize on Thursday and walked away with $661,800 after taxes.
Albert Totari, 28, received his oversized novelty check from a lottery representative at the Deys Centennial Building in Downtown Syracuse.
He won the second-place prize in New York Powerball.
He took the lump sum of the $1 million prize, rather than payments in installments.
