Car crash involving a utility pole causes power outages in Baldwinsville area
Baldwinsville (WSYR-TV) – Two people were taken to the hospital and many were left without power after a car struck a utility pole in the Baldwinsville area on Thursday night.
Both patients were in stable condition, according to an Onondaga County 911 dispatcher.
Dispatchers confirmed that the accident occurred on Dead Creek Road.
According to National Grid’s website, an estimated 2,270 customers were left without power.
The company estimated that power would be restored shortly after 2 a.m.
