Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A car smashed into a storefront on Erie Boulevard on Thursday afternoon after a driver mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.

No one was injured during the incident at the Dollar Tree location.

The impact scattered glass and debris into the store, but the building did not sustain any structural damage.

The 92-year-old man’s car was towed, but he was not ticketed after the incident.
