Cayuga County declares State of Emergency

Auburn (WSYR-TV) – Cayuga County has declared a State of Emergency and is restricting travel.

County officials are telling residents to avoid unnecessary travel.

The travel restriction will be in effect from 6 p.m. on Oct. 29 until officials determine that it’s safe to travel again.

They say potential impact may include strong winds over an extended period, significant rain, localized flooding, and prolonged power outages.
