Deputies identify driver in deadly crash
CICERO, NY (WSYR-TV) - One person is dead after a rollover accident in Cicero.
Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh says 32-year-old Steven Dewald of East Syracuse was driving eastbound on East Taft Road, near Fremont Road around 11:00 p.m. Thursday.
Walsh says Dewald's car left the road, went down an embankment and hit a utility pole. The car then rolled over before coming to a stop.
Dewald was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff says speed may have been a factor in the crash.
