Driver Dies in Amboy Crash Overnight

Amboy (WSYR-TV) - The driver of a pick-up truck who lost control and hit a tree overnight did not survive the crash.

Kenneth J. Birmingham, 35, was pronounced deat at the scene.

Crews with the Amboy and Williamstown Fire Departments, along with Oswego County Sheriff's deputies were called to County Route 17 in the Town of Amboy at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Deputies say Birmingham's 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup had approached a curve, when Birmingham lost control, passed into the other lane, and continued off the road, crashing into a tree.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies are overseeing the investigation.
