Driver dead after Erie Boulevard Crash
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – One person is dead after his vehicle crashed into a bridge abutment on Erie Boulevard East on Wednesday morning.
When Syracuse Police arrived at the crash scene in the 500 block of Erie Boulevard at 11 a.m., they found the driver - 53-year-old Theodore Gregory of Syracuse - unconscious.
He was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Gregory may have suffered from a medical condition at the time of the accident.
