Eddie Money delights the crowd at Balloonfest
Jamesville, NY (WSYR-TV) - It was not just balloons that drew the crowd to Ballonfest at Jamesville Beach Park on Sunday night.
Rock musician Eddie Money took the stage.
He was popular in the 1970s and 1980s with more than one dozen songs in the Top 100.
He spent time in the Syracuse area as a kid because he had an aunt and uncle who lived in the area.
"I actually got friends here from Jamesville. The promoter said, 'Who's this guy Eddie Money? He's got a bigger guest list than the Rolling Stones.' We have a lot of friends in Syracuse," said Money.
He has sold more than 27 million records.
