Father Taking Son To College Killed In Crash

Huron, Wayne County - A father headed to the University of Buffalo with his son was killed Thursday in a head-on crash in Wayne County.

It happened on Route 104 just before 6:30a.m. in the town of Huron.

Police say 19-year-old Samuel Famotibe drove into the oncoming lane and hit a pickup truck.  His father, a passenger in the car, 52-year-old Rufus Famotibe died.

The people in the truck were also hurt.

The victim was from Brooklyn.

Deputies say it isn't clear why Samuel Famotibe veered out of his lane.
