Fire destroys vacant house in Jamesville
Jamesville (WSYR-TV) -- Fire crews are investigating the cause of an early-morning blaze that destroyed a Jamesville home.
It happened around 7:30 Sunday morning at a two-story home on Barker Hill Road near Southwood Park Drive.
When crews arrived to the scene, the fire had spread through the garage and a short time later, it was fully involved.
The road was shut down for nearly an hour as two departments worked to put out the blaze.
Investigators say the home has been vacant since 2001.
Fortunately, no one was hurt during the fire.
