Fire put out at Prime Materials in Canastota
Canastota (WSYR-TV) – Multiple crews responded to a fire at a recycling facility in Canastota on Friday morning.
Fire officials say the blaze began in the Prime Materials building’s ceiling and spread through the insulation. As of 8:30 a.m., they were still trying to identify the exact cause of the fire.
No one was injured during the incident.
Three fires have broken out at the building over the past 10 years.
