Firefighters battle Syracuse house fire
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse firefighters spent nearly an hour fighting fire at a Syracuse House early Saturday morning.
It happened in the 400 block of South Collingwood Avenue around 3:10 a.m.
Syracuse Deputy Fire Chief David Reeves tells us the fire was "very stubborn" and that flames were shooting out of the roof when they arrived on scene.
Reeves says parts of the building has collapsed because of the fire. No one was hurt and no one was inside the home when the fire broke out.
The cause is still under investigation.
