Northboro, MA (WSYR-TV) - Some high school students in Massachusetts were singing their praises of Wegmans last week, literally.
A Wegmans musical was put on by advanced drama students at Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough.

The popular grocery chain is a mainstay for Western and Central New Yorkers. But when it arrived in the Worcester area, residents camped out overnight in anticipation of the store’s opening and a couple became engaged in at the store’s café aisle, according to the Worcester Telegram
The story began as an improv exercise set in a 12-items-or-less line. Shortly after that teachers and students expanded the narrative into a full comedic musical.
To set the scene, drama teacher Maura Morrison, was given a tour of Wegmans, according to MetroWest Daily News
. The grocery chain also donated shirts, signs and various items for the set.
Wegmans even provided the students with dinner following the performance.
