House destroyed by fire in Oneida County
TOWN OF WESTERN, NY (WSYR-TV) - A home in the Oneida County town of Western was destroyed by fire on Saturday afternoon.
It happened at about 4:45 p.m. on Hillside Road.
Firefighters said the fire started in the porch area of the home. Two teenagers were home at the time and tried to put the fire out before calling 911.
It took firefighters about an hour to get the flames under control.
No one was hurt.
The home is a loss and the cause is under investigation.
