Investigators identify man killed in Onondaga crash

ONONDAGA, NY (WSYR-TV) - One man is dead after a car crash in the Town of Onondaga.

Emergency crews responded to the one-car crash near the intersection of Split Rock Road and Harris Road Saturday just before 10:00 p.m.

Sheriff's deputies say 50-year-old Mark Cramer of Cazenovia was travelling eastbound when he went off the roadway, struck a culvert, went airborne and hit a tree.

Cramer was taken to Upstate University Hospital with serious injuries, where he was later pronounced dead. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
