Baldwinsville (WSYR-TV) -- We’ve gotten plenty of calls and emails from viewers looking for answers into what’s going on at the Fireside Inn in Baldwinsville.

After being closed for eight months, the restaurant has a new timeline to renovate and re-open.

Not too long ago, the Fireside Inn was a popular spot for prime rib, a baked potato and a night out by the Seneca River.

Many of you have asked: What happened to the Fireside Inn? What should I do with my unused gift certificates? When will the renovations begin?

We now know, the restaurant has plans to renovate and reopen by the fall. Though last February, a representative of the owner Donald Cole told NewsChannel 9 that renovations would likely begin this summer.

We checked in with the Town of Lysander Codes Department and the Zoning Administrator told us, there have been no permit requests to renovate the Fireside Inn. There are no plans for expansion currently on file.

The owner of the Fireside Inn is settling another issue you may have read about. He had a million-dollar judgment filed against him last month. His lawyer tells us it’s now being settled and satisfied privately.
