Ithaca (WSYR-TV) – Ithaca Police have identified a suspect who allegedly shot a man Monday.
Police say 18-year-old Zavierus King, also known as “Biggum,” is believed to be the shooter and should be considered armed and dangerous.
King is 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, with black eyes and black hair, according to police.
Police say they found the 21-year-old victim near the intersection of South Plain Street and West Green Street, lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his body.
Victim is hospitalized in stable condition as of Tuesday morning, according to police. They say he had to go through multiple surgeries, but is expected to survive.
