Judge upholds decision to sentence ‘Craigslist killer’ to death
(CNN/WSYR-TV) -- A judge in Akron, Ohio upheld a jury's decision to sentence the so-called Craigslist killer to death.
Richard Beasley lured men through the popular website -- promising them jobs as a caretaker on his farm.
The jury convicted Beasley last month of killing three men and burying their bodies in shallow graves.
A fourth man survived.
During today's sentencing, Beasley said he was very sorry and that he didn't kill anyone.He also said there would be a retrial.
Beasley's teenage co-defendant was sentenced to life in prison last year.
