Madison County man admits to distributing, possessing child porn

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A Madison County man pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography in U.S. District Court on Wednesday.

Matthew Lamb, 39, of DeRyuter admitted that he distributed child porn to an undercover law enforcement agent via a peer-to-peer file sharing network. He further admitted to receiving and possessing 400 images and video files depicting child pornography.

Lamb faces up to 20 years in prison and has been ordered to pay a $250,000 fine. He’ll also be required to register as a sex offender.

Lamb will be sentenced on September 10.
