Ithaca (WSYR-TV) -- Police say a young man accidentally fell to his death in an Ithaca gorge, commonly known as Treman Triangle.

Authorities believe 32-year-old Alan Young-Bryant slipped into the gorge, located near the intersection of Linn Street and University Avenue, Wednesday morning.

Young-Bryant was a Cornell graduate who was in town visiting from the Los Angeles area.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. At this point, authorities do not suspect any foul play.

Gorge falls and suicides have been a concern in the area for years. Over the summer, Cornell University announced its plans to install steel mesh nets under seven bridges to help reduce the number of suicides.
