Man dies after being hit by car in Lowe’s parking lot
New Hartford (WSYR-TV) -- An elderly man has died after being hit by a car in the parking lot of a Lowe’s store in New Hartford.
Doctor Firooz N. Tabrizi, age 79, of Whitesboro, was hit by the car last month at the store on Middle Settlement Road.
The driver involved says her foot slipped and she hit the gas pedal. She’s expected in court next month on a charge of failing to exercise due care.
