Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police said a man from St. Lawrence County has been arrested for allegedly stalking two women on Friday afternoon in Syracuse.
Police said 69-year-old David Healy, of Star Lake, is charged with two counts of stalking in the third degree
At about 1:00 p.m., near the intersection of South State Street and Washington Street., police said Healy drove up to a 32-year-old woman walking down the street and asked her to get in the car.
The woman entered a business close by and waited a few minutes for him to leave.
When she left the business, police said Healy was still there and he asked the woman again to get into his car. The woman ran away and called 911.
According to police, Healy then drove to the intersection of Park Street and Mary Street and asked a 17-year-old girl for sex.
The girl ran to people nearby, who called police.
In both instances the description of the car was the same. It was said to be a brown Honda CRV.
Officers caught Healy near LeMoyne Avenue and 7th North Street.
Healy is being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center as he awaits arraignment in Syracuse City Court.
If anyone has any information on the suspect or knows of any other incidents, they are asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
