Man in serious but stable condition after stabbing in Town of Clay

CLAY, NY (WSYR-TV) - A 25-year-old man is in serious but stable condition after a stabbing outside his home on Alperton Court in the town of Clay.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's office said Elias Matziarias was working on a car when the suspect pulled up in a small, blue sedan and started arguing.

The Sheriff's Office said the suspect is an acquaintance of Matziarias.

During the argument, Matziarias was stabbed and taken to Upstate University Hospital.

The suspect drove away from the scene.

He is described as a black male in his twenties, weighing about 145 pounds and medium in height.
