Auburn (WSYR-TV) – A Hannibal man who had already pleaded guilty to sex charges involving a child in Oswego County
, pleaded guilty to additional charges in Cayuga County on Tuesday morning.
Joseph Thompson had already pleaded guilty in April to endangering the welfare of a child in Oswego County.
On Tuesday morning, he pleaded guilty to criminal sex act in the second degree – a class D violent felony – on charges leveled in Cayuga County. He faces up to seven years in prison and 10 years of post-release supervision.
Thompson is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 28.
He is being held without bail until his sentencing.
