Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A man who caused the drunk driving crash that killed the mother of his child will spend the next 3 to 9 years in prison.
Mark Richter, 23, of Plantation Boulevard in Clay, was driving home from a party early on the morning of May 6, 2011 when he lost control of his car on Grampian Road in Clay and slammed into a tree.
The mother of his child, 23-year-old Debra Brown was killed. Their two-year-old boy was also in the car at the time of the crash, along with a 16-year-old and a 21-year-old. All suffered non-life threatening injuries.
