SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Police are investigating a shooting at the Sheraton Hotel on University Avenue that sent one man to the hospital early Saturday morning.

Multiple shots were fired in front of the hotel around 3 a.m.  Police say 25-year old Daquan Sullivan of Syracuse was shot in the right foot and left ankle.  He was taken to Upstate Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Sullivan is not a student at Syracuse University.

According to investigators, the shooting may have been the result of a fight that happened a short time earlier in the 100 block of Marshall Street, near Acropolis Pizza.

Police say Sullivan is being extremely uncooperative with investigating officers.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call 442-5222.
