Manlius man killed in Florida car crash
JACKSONVILLE, FL (WSYR-TV) - 22-year-old Michael Kriesel of Manlius died in a car crash in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Kriesel lost control of his car on I-95, drifted onto the grass shoulder and smashed into a concrete base that holds a street sign up.
The crash happened just after 5 a.m.
Kriesel was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said he was wearing a seat belt and are looking into whether alcohol was a factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
