Manlius police arrest high-level sex offender for exposing himself near a school he is barred from
East Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Manlius Police have arrested a high-level sex offender after an officer saw him urinating near a middle school he is barred from.
Terry Jandrew was charged with exposure of a person and trespassing.
A Level 3 sex offender, Jandrew is barred from any East Syracuse Minoa School District grounds.
He was arraigned in Town of Manlius Court and released on his own recognizance. ESM was also issued an order of protection against him.
In 2012, Jandrew was sentenced to a year in jail for assaulting a police officer.
The police were investigating Jandrew after he was caught loitering near Woodland Elementary School.
Police found him in a nearby vacant building with a roll of duct tape.
Jandrew was convicted of sexual abuse in the first degree in the 1990s for an incident involving a 6-year-old boy who he abused in a Carousel Mall men’s room.
