Manlius (WSYR-TV) – Manlius swan “Faye” has laid an egg weeks after her clutch was stolen and destroyed.
On April 25,
Ross Leone of Jamesville was arrested by Manlius Police and charged with several misdemeanors in connection with the eggs’ destruction.
In early May,
an expert indicated doubts that the villages iconic swans – Faye and her male counterpart “Manny” – would have eggs in the near future.
Since the incident, resident have formed a Swan Patrol to keep watch over the pond and surveillance camera are set to be installed within the next week.
