DeWitt (WSYR-TV) -- Three Syracuse men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing that left one man hospitalized Thursday night in the town of DeWitt.
Investigators say the victim -- 41-year-old Clifford Miller –- allowed an acquaintance inside his apartment, but upon locking his front door, two other men broke inside and Miller was held down by the man he recognized.
Miller was then forced outside of his apartment and into the apartment building’s hallway, where he was assaulted, investigators say.
Miller was stabbed in the head, back, shoulder and hand when he attempted to run, investigators said.
The suspects eventually ran off and Miller called for help.
Miller, who suffered wounds to his right lung and ribs was taken to Crouse Hospital, where he underwent treatment and is expected to recover.
An investigation led to the arrest of 16-year-old Tyrone A. McKinney, 18-year-old Cyril Swan and 25-year-old Joseph L. Cummings.
Each is being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $100,000.00 cash or bond bail. They have been charged with felony burglary, robbery and assault.
