Canandaigua (WSYR-TV) – The authorities have cancelled a missing adult alert that had been issued for a man described as having mental issues.
On Monday, police told media outlets that Harvey Walters, 64, had gone missing from Canandaigua.
They described Walters as a paranoid schizophrenic.

Canandaigua (WSYR-TV) – A missing adult alert has been issued for a man who suffers from mental illness.
Police are asking the public for help looking for Harvey Walters, 64. According to police, Walters is a paranoid schizophrenic who is insulin dependent and suffers from other conditions. He is 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds, bald with brown eyes.
They believe he may be trying to travel to California by bus or train.
Anyone who may know where Walters is should call 911.
