Motorcycle crash victim dies; police seeking witnesses

North Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – State Police say the motorcyclist involved in a serious crash on I-81 Friday morning has died.

Police say 51-year-old Timothy E. Straight, of Pitcher, NY, was traveling northbound on the interstate when he lost control of his 2012 Yamaha motorcycle and struck a guardrail.

State Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, which happened at around 11:30 a.m., to call State Police in North Syracuse at 455-2826.
