Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police on Friday released the mug shots of two teens accused in connection with a $6,000 shopping spree using stolen credit cards last week.
Police arrested the teens on Thursday.
Police charged Keira Terchowitz, of Syracuse, and Marissa Boyer, of Skaneateles, both 18, with felony forgery and misdemeanor identity theft.
Boyer was also charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.
Police say Boyer turned herself in on Wednesday, April 25 , and Terchowitz turned herself in on Thursday, April 26.
Police say the pair spent the money at Carousel Center mall, local liquor stores, and at several clothing stores. In one instance, police say Boyer used the credit card to purchase a pink bong for $127.53 at Spencer Gifts that she signed for. A few days later, police say they rang up $700 in charges on makeup at Sephora’s in Carousel Center, which Terchowitz signed for.
In all, police say they used the card 42 times at 28 different locations.
