NSA whistleblower Snowden granted asylum in two countries
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two countries have announced that they will grant asylum to Edward Snowden.
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced on Friday that they would be willing to grant asylum to the NSA surveillance program whistleblower in their nations.
Iceland announced on Friday that Snowden would not be granted asylum in their country.
Wikileaks tweeted earlier Friday that the Snowden has applied for asylum in six additional countries.
