No bail for Cortland County man busted on meth charges
Cortlandville (WSYR-TV) – A Cortland County man was arrested on Thursday after Sheriff’s Investigators say they caught him with meth making materials and drug paraphernalia.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says it was conducting a drug investigation in the town of Cortlandville when they pulled over 51-year-old Arvin Strauf of McGraw.
They charged him with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the first degree, both felonies.
Police say he has at least one prior conviction on drug-related charges.
He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and unauthorized use of a police receiver in a private vehicle, both misdemeanors.
He was arraigned in Town of Cortlandville Court and taken to the jail without bail.
