Port Leyden (WSYR-TV) – A Lewis County man has been arrested on charges that he abused a girl under the age of 11.
Daniel Rounds, 29, of Port Leyden, has been charged with criminal sex act in the first degree and sex abuse in the first degree, both felonies. He was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred at a residence on Church Street in Port Leyden.
He was arraigned in Village of Lowville Court and taken to the Lewis County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
