OCC Professor dies after crash in Durhamville

DURHAMVILLE, NY (WSYR-TV) - 65-year-old Vincent Spadafora of Canastota died after his SUV crashed on Route 31 in Durhamville Friday morning.

According to State Police, Spadafora drove off the road at about 10:30 a.m. His SUV hit a road marker and some trees, before it flipped over and landed on its wheels.

Spadafora was found unresponsive at the wheel and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

State Police are investigating what led Spadafora to drive off the road.

Spadafora taught Electronic Media Communications at Onondaga Community College for more than 40 years.
