Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- One person had to be extricated after an accident at the intersection of E. Fayette Street and Columbus Avenue Thursday night.

Police say a Ford Sedan driving southbound on Columbus Ave. and a Jeep traveling eastbound on E. Fayette Street collided at the intersection. At some point the Jeep slipped and landed on its roof.

A person in the Jeep had to be extricated as a result, but police say their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

The person in the sedan was not hurt, police said.

There’s no word on what caused the crash.
