Baldwinsville (WSYR-TV) – Two men are facing charges in Onondaga County that they stole a safe containing nearly 20 guns and a coin collection and a third man has been accused of helping them.

According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Charles Bliss and 26-year-old Christopher Goulette broke into a home on Carousel Lane in the village of Baldwinsville and stole the items. They say the safe contained 18 long guns.

Sheriff’s Investigators say the two men took the safe to the home of 44-year-old Christopher Monteleone where he opened the safe and helped them hide the guns.

The Sheriff’s Office recovered all of the guns, as well as a significant amount of collectible coins, and also found a stolen AR-10 that they believe had been taken during a separate incident.

Bliss and Goulette were taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center without bail after being arraigned in the Village of Baldwinsville Court.

Monteleone was arraigned in Town of Cicero Court and released on pre-trial release.

Bliss and Goulette were charged with burglary and grand larceny, both felonies.

Monteleone was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.
