Oswego (WSYR-TV) – Two Oswego County men are facing felony charges after they allegedly stole 25 cellphone cases valued at a total of $1,304 from a town of Granby Walmart location.
Both Dale Daugherty, 28, of Oswego, and Marshall Butler, 30, of Mexico, were already in trouble with the authorities when Oswego Sheriff’s Deputies charged them with grand larceny.
Butler was wanted on a bench warrant after allegedly skipping a court appearance regarding disorderly conduct charges and Daugherty was wanted on a warrant related to drug charges in South Dakota.
They were arrested on Oct. 19 after allegedly stealing the Otter boxes and then riding off in a car driven by Raymond Burdick, 29, of Altmar.
Burdick was charged with multiple violations in various Oswego County towns and villages – primarily for unpaid fines. He was released.
Daugherty is being held without bail pending extradition, while Butler was jailed in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
