Oswego (WSYR-TV) – Oswego Police say they've made an arrest in a robbery at an East Side gas station on Wednesday.
Hours after police released surveillance photos of the suspect on Thursday the suspect was in custody.
Police have not yet identified the suspect. They plan to hold a news conference concerning the incident sometime Friday afternoon.
According to police, the suspect reportedly told a customer at the Rise and Shine Convenience store
that he had a gun before he stole her purse and ran away. No weapon was displayed during the incident.
A heavy police presence initially responded to the area around the store at 126 East Oneida Street.
No one was injured during the incident, police say.
