Palermo (WSYR-TV) - An Oswego County man is dead after his 1979 Chevrolet Camaro crashed in Palermo.
Rescue crews were called just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
Robert E. Green, 34, of Hannibal veered off the shoulder of Route 49 at the intersection with Route 3, hitting an embankment and several trees before the car flipped.
Green was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for a few hours during an investigation.
No other cars were involved and Green was the only person inside his vehicle.
