Part of 690 West closed through the weekend

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Beginning Friday, all three lanes of I-690 Westbound on Syracuse’s East Side will be closed through Monday.

The highway will be closed from the Thompson Road exit to the Teall Avenue exit beginning at 9 a.m.

The lanes will remained closed through noon on Monday.

The state recommends that drivers use a detour that will take them from the highway at the Thompson Road exit to Erie Boulevard, and back to 690 via the on ramp from Teall Avenue.
